Pixmeknot Limited (“Mustache”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Mustache CRM platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and organization name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google profile information.

CRM Data. You may input contact information, company records, deal details, notes, and other business data into Mustache. This data is yours — we process it solely to provide the service.

Usage Data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the service, including pages visited, features used, browser type, device information, and IP address.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Mustache platform
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Process transactions and send billing-related communications
  • Respond to support requests and customer service inquiries
  • Send product updates and service notifications
  • Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve the service
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or security threats

3. AI Features

Mustache includes an AI chat assistant powered by third-party language models (currently Anthropic's Claude). When you use the chat feature, your prompts and relevant CRM context are sent to the AI provider to generate responses. We do not use your CRM data to train AI models. The AI provider processes data under a data processing agreement that prohibits training on customer data.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. We use trusted third parties to host infrastructure (Vercel, Supabase), process payments (Stripe), and provide AI capabilities (Anthropic). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your consent. We may share information with third parties when you explicitly authorize us to do so, such as through integrations you enable.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), encryption at rest (AES-256), row-level security policies in our database, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. CRM data is retained until you delete it or close your account. Upon account closure, we delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data
  • Export your data in a machine-readable format
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities
  • Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

8. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required by applicable law.

9. Children's Privacy

Mustache is not directed at individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Your continued use of Mustache after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
